SPLURGE: Travel Beauty Favorites

Hello lovelies! Today I want to share with you a few of my favorite splurge beauty items that I particularly love for travel.

#1 TARTE SHOWSTOPPER CLAY PALETTE

There are several reasons why I love this palette. This palette comes with six beautiful eye shadows, some matte and some shimmery; a pretty, peachy blush; and a bronzer and highlighter. The blush, bronzer, and highlighter can also be used as eyeshadows.

The great sized mirror is a useful thing to have when you need to do your make up in a hostel, train, airport, etc and you don't have access to a large mirror.

Okay guys, I need to let you know just how obsessed I am with eye shadow sticks. They're FANTASTIC for travel, seriously. They last super long and are so simple to use. You just swipe them across your eyelid or in the crease and then you just blend out with your finger or a brush and you instantly have a pretty and natural look.

These Laura Mercier ones are super super pigmented and sooo creamy, so they're gentle on the eye. Honestly, you'll understand why I'm obsessed when you try one of these.

I know there are many travel brush kits out there but I personally believe that Sigma brushes are highest quality, particularly for their price. They're very durable and well-made and the bristles are dreamy soft. This kit comes with every brush you'll need and it comes with a fantastic travel case that will endure any knocks to it.

I don't have to tell you that travel can quickly wear your skin out and make it look dull and tired. You're probably jet lagged, not sleeping enough, and facing gross pollution so your skin definitely needs a nice pick me up. The Clarisonic Mia is a handy and compact skin cleansing tool that packs a big punch. You'll be amazed just how soft your skin feels after washing your face with this.

I use it along with my basic Cetaphil cleanser but you can use it with any cleanser. The exfoliation the Clarisonic provides helps my after-cleansing products sink better into my skin, therefore making them more effective. The Mia model is smaller than their original one, so it's a great tool for travel.

Alright, I know a lot people think it's ridiculous to pay for a facial water spray. Trust me, I used to be one of them. But oh boy this stuff is crazy amazing when you're in Rome and it's about a billion degrees and super humid. Picture yourself covered in disgusting sweat from being trapped in a swampy metro car. Now, imagine how wonderful it would feel spraying this cool, mineral-enriched water onto your face. Now you get what I'm talking about...

I'm gonna admit that my hair can be super picky about what products I use on it. It's weird, I can use some inexpensive products and be fine, but there are other hair products that I have to splurge on or else my hair will go nuts. This kit comes with a shampoo, conditioner and 5-in-1 styling treatment that smooths, conditions, volumizes, strengthens, and polishes. These products don't make my hair greasy or weigh it down and DEAR LORD do they leave my hair smelling amazing.
